About

I have been taking photographs continuously since receiving a 35mm film SLR as a teenager. I spent several years working with various film formats as a commercial photographer specializing in architecture and artwork documentation, and currently work more in the virtual world as the manager of a 3D modeling and animation group in Denver specializing in architectural and engineering projects.

I am still very active in photography and have moved to a digital workflow using Nikon full-frame equipment. I am particularly drawn to photographing architectural and industrial subjects where I explore the play of light, shadow and color that allow the creation of abstract images that are often removed from the original subject. I am also creating images using long exposures and movement of the camera which allow an effect much like painting with light and color.
